Citizen entrepreneurship process
Develop engaging research questions
Student entrepreneurs draw from their interests to compose innovative research questions focusing on a current community need.
Collect & Analyze data
After creating relevant and purposeful research questions, students collect local data and use qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods to assess the impact of their research.
Community outreach
An important aspect of student projects is how well they communicate their findings back to their hyper local communities. Students use findings from their projects to foster an open dialogue with local community members.

How It Works
We allow students to build cultural competencies while engaging in research on entrepreneurial ecosystems through small businesses in their local communities. Hosted at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC/CUNY).
We will publish our students' findings on this website.
